Honestly, what add to the story that mc is japanese? I could understand if the dialogue's style was similiar, but if you were to compare it to one translated novel it appear obvious that it is very different. I can understand that many authors like japaneses things, but if you (generic you, not 'you author of this novel) are unable to write a similiar mc (that honestly are mostly trash) then don't write it. I'm sorry to rant in your comment section, but I wll never understand why so many forces themselves. I personally find hard to read novel with such inconsistences. P.S. For exemple I once dropped a novel at the first chapter because the author gave to his MC a chinese name and surname while the MC's family had not a drop of asiatic blood.
