You could have least eneded it after the reunion with Xia Fei and they returned home. That would have been a more settling end to the novel if you didn't want to continue it on. This is too good of a story to have a cliff hanger ending.

Anticlimactic ending. Where's the Ancient God? What happened to Stanley? There are so many unfinished pieces of the story. His father ending up as a forgotten side character? ....Wish there was more....

It would have been better if the whole clan, including Xia Fan’s father showed up because the clan always drops everything when the token is broken, then they all leave together. That would make Xia Fan not knowing who they were make sense and just an all around better ending

This ending was horrible as was pretty much all of the Xia Fan arc.If you wanted to do a story about Xia Fan it should be it's own book. I pretty much did not care about the kid and even if you make another book about him I doubt I will read it at this point.Story up to the kid showing up 9 out of 10Story after that point 2 out of 10Ending; Negative 80 out of ten
