See this is what I love. You've grounded the main character to the story even more. You've given us a reason even more to be invested in his journey, Also the plot and Narrative. You've managed to flush out multiple back stories in one effort. The hill alot of authors can't get over is Emotionally inveting their audience in the main character, but you have paced it properly and built up its anticipation properly. Keep up the good work!!!
