Try to focus on the building of a culture and tradition use the plot of him picking a mate to flesh it out but don't focus on the romance too much because I'm really just interested in the build of a tribal identity. lots of kingdom building novels never even mention that stuff. I think it'll make your novel stand above the rest. Try to do some more emphasizing of his subordinates gaining strength and the influences and prestige they now have among there clan-mates, even delve into there thoughts about their journey and its relation to the MC. Another thing I think you should delve into is the relationship between the mc and his brother and even the elder I think if you can get those things done they will give your story gravity and a whole other level of realism you'll go from a 3☆ story to a 5☆ story. And let me say every kingdom building story I've read so far has been a 1☆. Your story has great potential.
If you want to act like a ORC you are more or less. You act a lot like human. An orc, as we know, already have fked a lot of women. And you are the Chief. You act a lot like a human. I RLY dont care about the harem or not thing. But just dont make your brother have a harem and everyone having one and you still saying, prove too be worth... You are no more human, soo just make that idea!
