Im very happy with your novel so far most books I just find boring to read but I can say with certainty that this novel Is only a level or so behind "I might be a fake cultivator" and "daily life of the immortal king." I love veil as a character and this story had me laughing at times and other times almost in tears. you have my honest praise keep up the great work, although it might be hard to write a story this good I hope you'll stick with it to the end. I'm expecting big things from this story in the future! (also I like really do like veils character now if you could keep him a little lighter and don't have him turn into a cold god like rain in your other novel. I personally think that would be for the best. but he has mei and cai so as long as you don't kill them off they should be able to keep him from turning into rain)
