Why not call it Mind as a stat instead this way it can be spent differently on multiple different states of use that take the mind to do. Examples can be learning magic easier or other language's. Learning arrays and maybe being faster in learning other skills or figuring out stuff a bit faster or getting epiphanies more often when thinking about or making stuff for his ideas. The possibilities are endless.
