Let's be real, just like how in Hollywood there's only US and Europe. Most Light Novel whether they're from Japan,China,Korea usually only mentioned their own respective country and the west (US & Europe). Because to them, when one mention the word 'foreigners' it's usually blond and blue eyed caucasians, not people from other regions.

If the monsters can be repelled by copper walls and they live in the industrial revolution era.. Why people don't use hot air balloons or zeppelins to move around the world? If the supreme beings could fly, their copper city walls would be meaningless.
