Love this story but this romance is predictably cliche and for me, a little cringe

This romance character of Olma just ruin this great story. Truly disappointing.

she is a scion of change in the race of changelings I don't believe their old culture didn't put this scion in a half holy position or position of authority like the leader of scions or some other stuff. if he goes to this world he can try reviving some changelings of old to know more about their culture and give it to those changelings, as I also doubt the elves kept any public info about them, to make them be forgot, maybe in the empire grand library or important places to keep info on their race, may they come back and cause chaos to their governance.
