there are no stakes outside of the sin trials, mc is completely untouchable and nothing matters, his cultivation isnt even relevant anymore because its on a broken scale hes so overpowered everything else is irrelevant in comparison, this stretches to any prime acendends. every story has plot armour that perfectly fine but when real challenges are overcome its easy to forget that, but we dont have that here, everything is perfect nothing goes wrong if it does they weren't important anyway
I remember the author saying that WW journey in the mystic realm would be a lot faster than the mortal realm because it’s only an introduction to mystic Dao (like the qi condensation realm). However we are in chapter 1400 and probably another 50 chapter before the closure of CKC, and even the most basic cultivation requirement of the bloodline of sin is still probably extremely far away. (maybe it’s the true sage realm of the mystic Dao)
