Very refreshing. In most novels, it almost a rule that everything bad that happens is the Mc fault. Which is stupid. Finally some background characters with brains.
There’s a editor’s comment midway through this chapter that was not removed. It is at the end of the bit describing how powerful WW is. That should probably be edited out.
