tldr; just some world-building blather. would a black hole produce more or less Mana for the region? maybe anti/dark-mana that reacts to regular Mana like matter and antimatter. could be interesting. adding longevity to a particular region could also be useful. maybe the mystic ring accelerates the decay rate, and whatever the next step is increases that even more to put the life-span of a star into numbers a cultivator could survive. possible enemy/ally for the future could be black-hole planet cultivators. maybe they're naturally stronger but they're separated by populated stars, meaning star-based cultivators have a reason not to go scorched earth on enemies lest the monsters be unleashed. Assuming you use this idea I'd understand if you made them Lovecraftian, but I'd prefer undead/insect aesthetics if you do want a new racial profile. or orcs, but they're basically demons as you've made them.
