Thanks for the chapter! That was sure a surprising development. But I'm glad Jasmine gets this chance at "adoptive" familial happiness. Also about her relationship with Itsuki improving so much. "Nee-chan~". Mmmm if prepping Itsuki for her date was enough to make Mayu jelly... what about this? <3
Don't worry. a) Itsuki's straight, b) Mayu isn't so much jealous OF Itsuki so much as she's jealous of Jas's time being taken away by somebody or something else, and c) Mayu will actually be able to come over to visit Jas in a setting that won't have her mum smacking Jas with a paper fan or one that she can't go to at all ー Jas's original house. Everything will be fine.
Jasmine I've been really interested in because I am the daughter of a Jasmine, more or less. It weighs heavy on one's heart, but also is so important to realize no only is there goodness and hope, but also that it is possible to being that to others with suffecient means. But the lack of being able to escape such situations due to a lack of gauranteed housing and basic needs for all is what fundamentally liberates her. It is only through the kindness of individuals that Jasmine is a lucky one. The personal will always be political, and the Mayu-Itsuki-Jasmine relationship is goin to be fascinating to watch.
