This is actually a refreshing change of pace. A female lead who is confident but also suffers from a situation in which she's never dealt with people or family before because she was confined. Quite adorable.
Relatively short chapter and exruciantingly detailed description do not make for a great read imo. Also what is with that "I will make them misunderstand each other no matter what" thing. That cannot be realisticly maintained for long with the way author is describing it. It sounds forced.
Uuuuurm, wanting to avoid contact is normally considered cowering. She may not be "shy" in quite the way that we understand it, but she is certainly shy in that she doesn't know how to deal with people and so avoids them.
