Get to the Point
'Heaven is jealous of talents', this phrase always feels like a case of sour grapes to me.In this novel, heavenly tribulation seems to be calibrated according to a person's maximum potential. It is up to the person themselves to realize said potential, which probably does not happen a lot. It might injure such a person but will probably never be life threatening.
It's like, he arrived to do a difficult exam for a very prestigious opportunity in an organization but when he arrived, admin mistook his identity and sent him for the generic exam that could only get him an entry level spot. So after the generic exam he complained, dealt with a bunch of paperwork snafus, before finally getting to the right exam. But it was an oral exam and by now the examiners were a bit peeved and late for lunch...
