Maybe the Crystals are related to the Scorpions. Which would make sense why its making An'an cry and BQQ to suddenly have this Nightmare

anyone else think that because scorpions become mates by passing on their venom, that maybe the scorpion king, who's still alive btw, could be mated, indirectly to An'an? I just have a weird suspicion and this seemed like the best place to voice it

I’m sad I was actually hoping Zachary would b good and decent. He is similar to Curtis but at least Curtis thought of snow and didn’t try to eliminate her mates even though he wanted to at times. Well maybe Parker and not so much Winston . I don’t approve of what Zachary did it was awful but I understand of wanting his mate to himself without sharing. But he should’ve thought of her feelings which he didnt 😡

Im starting to wonder why scorpion beat up the females when mating. could they have the legacy thing like Curtis and thats the only way they know to mate????

Back then even if Bqq scratched the snake spousal mark in order to break the bond between her and Curtis, it didn't work because even then, she already felt something for Curtis...but in Chris' case, when she felt hatred for Saint Zachary, it was already a clear rejection, that's why the spousal mark disappeared...even if he mated with her, her feelings of hatred remained the same...

this chapter explains how Flame City came to existence!!! that was the story of the Scorpion King and how he was rejected...i just don't understand why Bqq is having dreams about him...

Diamonds are magical and one in the possession of it could see future. It hurts when ones dreams are wiped on wakening.

This story is like a creatively knit fabric made with yarn of science and wild imagination stretching beyond all logical and scientific parameters. So keeping all that in mind my guess is: 1. Scorpion venom with chemicals in atmosphere causes hallucinations, like Winston had after being stung for the second time and exposed to Flos Eriocauli. 2. Snow/ BQ was stung by scorpion in past and when Winston mated with her it was her second exposure. 3. Everything was fine till the Rock necklace came in picture, based on An’an’s reaction to it, I feel it’s combination of scorpion venom in Snow’s body, and compsition of Rock necklace affecting both An’an and BQ.

I'm glad this chapter acknowledged that Qingqing could have removed Curtis' mark if she'd actually wanted to. It was kind of acknowledged previously but never stated outright that she can remove even a feral mark if she doesn't love them anymore.
