Qingqing is being a jerk again. The author gave her two personalities. Sometimes shes extremely shallow and vain. Sometimes shes nice. Its like the author is trying to convince us shes a good person by having sprinklings of her acting normal. But on the whole, Shes actually a jerk. Right now, Im only reading this story for Winston. If the author decides to make him a jerk too, than im done.

At least someone is giving the baby love and attention she deserves. But honestly made me so mad at Snow behavior towards her child. It seems like she automatically disliked her just because she didn’t look pretty right away.I understand that nobody wants an ugly child but calling somebody that is very hurtful and it can be very damaging to one’s self-esteem I should know. Pretty or not you love that child

Snow is so rude about her daughter. Who actually calls their baby daughter ugly?!!🙄 At least Winston is giving her attention and thinks she is pretty.

I didn’t like the shallow remark from Bai, but also feel that An’an being her first human baby and Bai having perfect looks it’s a natural reaction doubting her own genetics. I’ve seen n daughters talking to their moms like this too, specifically one where a daughter daughter was complaining how the her looks declined cos of guy her mom married, it was hilarious.

I want to give BQQ the benefit of the doubt about her baby, because post partum hormones can make mothers feel repulsed by their child instead of bonding and newborns truly aren't very pretty...but she sounds so superficial and shallow with a whole chapter like this.

babies start off wrinkly then after putting on some weight becomed the typical babies that everyone knows its her first human baby experience so give BQQ a chance to be a good mom. confinement is usually for bonding time for mom and baby. also to help the mom pass immunity to baby and less exposure to disease and stuff for babies.
