Mc is a little... over the top in saying that the goblins ‘deserved’ to die, they were only following their own races or clans basic instincts that they have never questioned because their race does not possess the basic moral knowledge or sympathy for others. Suddenly they do their own thing as usual, one day one individual is born who dislikes how they do things and kill each and every one of them? Including the weak females who have already accepted their fate as it came... mc has no knowledge of the outside world or the worlds rules yet but attacks and kills the clan leader he knows nothing about? Sure he/she has read novels so has a basic knowledge may be higher than some in the situation but jumping from kill one person for the assassin quest and escape in seven days where did it say to slaughter them all?
I like your in-depth analysis, but the truth of the matter is that “morality” is usually an arrogant concept, people forcing others to live in the way their subjective perspectives deem “right”, I also doubt Yuri ever considered the goblins as “people”, they’re ugly, dumb, violent and many are rapists, as someone from modern society it would be hard to sympathize with them
