So question is can Quinn and Jessica open the way to the other dimension sue to their power or is there something unique with their vampire/dhampir powers. Like Quinn is a celestial vampire so it makes sense but Jessica is a dhampir and other then apparently being natural born doesn't seem to be any different then other dhampirs.

The author is confusing. laxmus feared dhampirs because the immortui told Laxmus to kill Erin, even though Bliss wanted Erin to remain alive due to her dhampir powers, which could potentially kill the immortui. Furthermore, Bliss even urged Quin not to kill Erin.

Well I think most of us could of guessed what Immortui has been upto since being exiled to the other dimension, but other that Quinn, Sil or possibly some of the other Celestials, I'm not sure anyone would have the power to open up a portal, unless Jessica being around so many Vampires has greatly powered her up without her even realising.I really hope that Jessica's friends hasn't been inadvertently marked, just so Immortui can keep an eye on them all because he seems like a decent guy.
