Can't Quinn just bring out one of his shadow beasts leave them in a safe spot since he can teleport with his shadow. I hope everyone manages ok and Quinn gets the armour done fast.

Imma guess it's gonna take about a week before they're able to get equipment done. It's going to take two days for Jim and Jack to get there, and then a few more to get through the extra planets, and then it gets complete either mid fight on the main planet or just before.
