I actually like this. I was wondering if we were going to get a more in-depth look at Zeros past. And I have to be honest, the whole killing thousands of people to live longer and serving a celestial that wants to kill the humans not withstanding, I kind of feel sorry for him. He lost everyone he loved. His students who were practically his children. And it screwed him up royally.
None of this makes sense though. First of all, the dalki would’ve wiped his family out in the first place even without joining the war. Second, why would you send people with the ability to harness energy out in the field instead of using them to make more super soldiers. At most, this story is explanation was made to as the author couldn’t come up with a better reason for zero to be the way he is now.
Expected the Zero backstory, didn't expect him to just go and try to kill the Supreme Commander... Is that how Oscar got his position(?)

I had a feeling that we would get a look at Zero's past, instead of the fight between him and Erin, but I suppose any new back story info I cool to see. I kind of get why Zero would be angry with the Supreme Commander for signing the treaty, especially after he's lost so many people, but to be honest if it wasn't for the treaty the whole of the Human race would probably be dead instead. Plus he should honor those that have passed, by understanding that their deaths helped save millions of live in the long run.
