Sam, the tactician, failed to give Layla a long, need break after an extremely hard fought battle. Quinn fights hard, passes out, and sleeps for a week. Layla fights hard, passes out, and is redirected to another equally difficult battle.

I hope Layla can contact that voice again I know it might be bad but Layla is strong with bad emotions I think she could handle it or at least figure out what that voice is .

I definately think that Layla is growing to be one of the strongest among the Cursed, but I think that Sam has definitely made a tactical error, not giving Layla a bit of time to rest and recover after her last fight. Lets all hope that things go a bit better in the near future, but knowing our favourite Cursed peopel it won't.

I’m struggling a bit to get motivated to read new chapters due to how long it’s dragging out the reveal for Quinn. I believe with such a big and important reveal a better way of going about it was to either reveal it earlier, then cut away to the rest of the POV’s or to add small updates of Quinn in each/every other chapter to give progress. I just found that I’m not able to enjoy the other POV as I’m so focused on wanting to know what happens with Quinn, even though they are well written. Hopefully JKS may see this and can take it on board for the future, if anyone feels differently please feel free to let me know

So does the sword control its powers and when to negate stuff or is it a passive. Wasn't there a points awhile ago when the sword lowered the amount of spikes on a dalki? I can't remember but it could have been when that dalki was actively growing a spike when it was reversed.
