Were definitley all on the Eno bus, and it does seem like something he would do. So im on that bus too. But the question is why? if it was after the dalkis creation, then he would have been trying to raise someone strong to defeat them. But what if it was before that? what purpose would he have had if it was before the dalki were even created? (which is most likely imo. since Brock seems to be implying that generations have passed.) And if not Eno, who? The first king? Bryces father? the leader of Pure??
Surprised that Hilston ended up dying in the end without him ever getting to attempt to take Sil's body. But then again Hilston smiled at the end as if knowing Sil would come after him and remember Shiro's mind transfer ability also activates passively when you kill someone. I don't know what all the abilities Sil had in his slots when he killed Hilston but if he used Shiro's ability in order to increase MC count Hilston could still be around and waiting for the chance to take over. How is that for a plot twist. Also hearing Blade all I can think of is the vampire hunter from the movies. My guess is the person is either Eno, Brock or another member of their team. Maybe even a Dhampir and as such he can have children with humans starting the Blade family would explain their superhuman abilities they can get with training. Also possible that who ever it is was the the original Blade with their abilities meaning likely he maybe Hilston's actual father by blood in order for his ability to be passed down. Remember Hilston mentioned that his father said about abilities he couldn't copy and the Blade's also had records of the shadow ability. So whoever the father is should be related to him as the Blade's ability is genetic or Eno gave it to them and Hilston. Also just remembered but correct me if I am wrong but Arthur has blond hair doesn't he when not using his vampire powers or am I just over thinking things now.
First thought whole reading was "way to go Eno!" /sarcasm I see y'all thought the same. So Richard Eno is trying to clean up his mess? If it was him, he is even more of a cold jerk than I'd thought. I'd feel better if the jerk was Jim. ( He was my second thought and hope since I don't want Richard to be that horrid)
I would have to think a Blade family Soul Weapon would probably allow the individual to copy all the abilities and MC cells for those around them without needing to touch them and without limiting them to only 1, 2, or even 6 abilities. Soul weapons are usually based upon the individuals ability and since their ability is copying others, it is the only Soul Weapon form that would make sense. Imagine the strength in a battle to be able to copy 20 or more different abilities and the number of MC cells from those 20+. It would be the ability version of Quinn's Shadow Overload where the Blade member could effectively use any ability to a maximum level for however long they could maintain their soul weapon. The only problem I see is that it would make someone like Sil substantially stronger than Quinn, and it would take away from the story and make it virtually about Sil and not Quinn.
