is anyone else thinking hilston was trying to get a blade that could use the tablet and what if Richard showing up means he is there to teach Quinn how to go beyond a vampire lord
so I've always had a theory about Hilston that I thought most would share. the only reason to create a blade child stronger than himself, one with more abilities and a soul weapon, and the only reason he would so single-mindedly try to obtain and keep that child, would be so that he could transfer his mind to that body and become stronger. he wanted to use sil as his next vessel
So Hilston wanted a soul weapon for the Blade family but why? What was his end goal why did he want the Blade family to get stronger? I keep having the feeling that the Blades family ways might have been for the greater good. You know the Blades are the most powerful but if you look at it another way they are also the weakest. If they can't copy an ability they are pretty much normal humans without all their training. What if in the past the Blade were treated similar to the chained enslaved and exploited by other ability users. This could explain why they are put through all that training, kept the chained and isolated themselves on the island. It was cause without being able to copy abilities they were too weak to protect themselves despite having such a strong ability. Still hate Hilston, but can understand if the way the Blades did things started out as a desperate way to protect themselves but got twisted in later generations.
Considering that everyone who has a Ability essentially has a soul wepon, except for the blades, means either they dint have One or like Stated before the stronger the ability the larger the condition to use it. so maybe its so strong that the condition is That is rare to show up. imo he can use all abilities he ever copied and mc cells, but for a short time. essentially he becomes a god for like 5 mins.
I dont guess the ever tried to get Sil to bring forth a soul weapon? I wonder if there was a way for Hilston to know if he could use one or not. Also, what will this weapon be? Could it be a physical weapon that takes powers from the abilities that Sil currently had copied? I couldnt see them having an enhancement type ability either because it just doesnt seem to add up to it
I have to appreciate the situation set up here allowing more Blade family story lines (beyond them just merging into the group until fights or disappearing entirely to hide)... gotta find the fake mom and dad to ask questions, the twins provide a valuable counterbalance to the powers of others, etc. Good set up for more.
I really hope someone with a recorder or Bonny and Void will be around when they start telling the Blades story just to clear up the misunderstanding in the world. Quinn didn't miss Richard? I sure did đ . Cockiness runs in the Eno family, I wonder why Quinn isn't like that, lol. Did Richard return because he noticed Vincent's presence, or he's finally here to help with the war?
