honestly, i think he's gonna fail this quest.

It would make sense if he fails half of the challenge. He has not seen a very significant failure pretty much throughout the entirety of the book. It could be that pivot point of self doubt and reassurance of one's own resolve that helps power through to the end that always happens to the hero.

wonder if he can reclaim the planets that have fallen? that might make the quest doable

My Anxiety at that 7,8,9 reminded me of why six is afraid of seven...

The only real question remaining is... what will the penalty be? It is virtually a guarantee he fails this quest.

Really don't like that the quest was set up to be impossible to complete. If Graham wasn't involved it would be fine Quinn would be able to catch up. However Graham have the Dalki a big lead before Quinn even got started. Not only that but in theory the Dalki can go back to planets he already beat and capture them and Quinn wouldn't notice till it was to late.

Graham gambled Quinn wouldn’t be on those other Cursed Planets and quickly destroyed them. Just one more planet from failing his quest.

I’m wondering what he is going to lose if he loses all the planets

Quinn is running out of time! I don't think he's going to succeed. But if he takes them back will the quest be considered successful or will he still get a penalty. What will that penalty be? What will he lose? This is so scary!!!

So this being the 10th planet is a true standoff, and Graham is setting a trap to attempt to kill him. I wonder what information Graham will divulge when he sees the shadow skill? Graham was a Punisher when Arthur went to eternal sleep the first time after all, right?

Quinns gonna fail the quest. It also kinda feels like Graham knows about the quest, and not the he just calculated where Quinn would go next

Mmm maybe if Nathan does go to dalki 0lanets to draw their attention, they can slow down the Dalkis advance and give Quinn a chance to strike? but man. hes 1 away from losing and unless he has some kind of breakthrough or something unexpected hapoens i dont see him recovering from this one!

Is this just one solar system? just Quinn had 18 planets. If the other two groups also have this amount of planets, it will be 54 planets. If the Dalkies have the same number in total, it will be 108 planets. Let's say these are just 50% of the total planets in the solar system because the rest are not possible to be inhabited. So in total, this solar system has about 216 planets! It is a huge solar system compared to our solar system.

Shocked to see him lose 3 more planets like that. i believed that they were only falling due to Graham going one by one to each once the dalki had established themselves. In fact if i were quinn Id have gone and left Ortun alone once seeing the dalki not attacking thinking it was a setup (as it sort of is) but then regretted it as soon as the messages popped up and id already left.

But just one fact , if Quinn won against Graham that doesn't mean that he theoretically won back his all planets after all the cursed fraction was attacked under the command of Graham. But the system is a problem . ...

Too bad Quinn can't teleport from ship to ship. that would simplify everything.
