Theory time (chapter unrelated) (also probably totaly wrong) SPOILER FOR MDS The bone claw is the the current master/creator of the shadow ability. Maybe even a divine being like bliss Evidence : 1: The bone claw will only accept to bind its self to evil. This was stated when Quinn first bonded. However nothing has really given the impression that Quinn is evil by our standards and other the on one occasion the boneclaw hasn't attempted to end the deal. So why bond with Quinn? Evil is a subjective matter. Quinn is evil to the shadow because he carrys the blood of the one who stopped them before. 2: The boneclaw is supposedly the king of the familia's yet his power has hardly been shown, is this because its in a weak state or is it because conditions of its power have not been met? 3: The boneclaw has only appeared when quin has truly wanted something, with every fiber of his being. And as MDS has shown the shadow play on your deepest desires to bring you into there fold. 4: Bliss has given a crystal to consume the shadow, currently for unknown reasons but she stated the creator will want it back. Boneclaw reaches strength-zaps Quinn of his shadow ability and tells quinn about his connection to Ray. Quinn escapes death somehow and returns to the tablet. Due to the blood connection Him and Ray's spirits merge granting him all the powers to once again combat the shadows return. Human, vampire, dragon status unlocked somehow which pushes him into the 'advance beyond vampire lord' stage. The final crisis however is with erin... The shadow corrupts her as she's a damp and eventually they have to kill her or save her. Jks if I'm right about any of this even in part... I dunno... Let me know somehow

Every time this group of absolute delinquents just keep on tarnishing the reputation of military service. You don't blindly attack ever. Generals are supposed to be information vores. there is no advantage like good intelligence. It's not an army. it's a collection of thugs!

I bet one horn wins, he survived the Graylish in the first war, and he is even stronger now, with no Graylish to speak of? Wonder if there will be any Military POW's ? Rose as a leader has such trust in Arthur, and now its paying off when the Military thinks all settler humans must be Vampire's and thus wiped out!

Welk it loon like Arthur sent a few Dalki to look after his little village/shelter he was at before everything kicked of again. It does make me wonder if there is more reason behind them being there though. Sach is a bit of a prat but I hope he and Samantha bother live and are able to get back to Oscar to report what happened.
