Hmm I think that was the wrong choice, Oscar. They're fighting the dalki to portect humans, so if those dalki are protecting the humans, what's the point of fighting them? Even if they're enemies, it doesn't make sense to fight there, with the possibility of hurting the civilians and taking away their protection against the beast that the military wasn't willing to give in the first place. Haa
I'm curious what Arthur is gonna do about it since he's partial towards humans. I still don't understand why Arthur even sided with the Dalki in the first place. Who is Arthur's enemy? All vampires or just certain ones. I might be wrong, but wasn't Eno the perpetrator of the crime the that Arthur killed one the 1st leaders for? All these old guys are playing 4D chess while everyone else is playing checkers, their decisions only make sense to them. There's too many unknown factors at play.
Is it just me, or does anyone else want to see Oscar and the Earthborn group get a slight whoopin and need Quinn to save them? After all, the humans cannot realistically win every battle. Otherwise there would be no need for them all to unify. A good solid defeat with approximately 60% of the military force on the planet wiped out before Oscar calls for a retreat and leaves with his tail between his legs or Quinn and the Cursed Faction comes to the rescue somewhat belatedly - either would work.
I suppose Fex has a serious point to be honest, being a Vampire does have a lot of problems and Helen shouldn't being saying stuff like she did without considering the consequences that would follow. It great to see that Quinn did allow Layla to come to Blade island after all the effort she put in to prove that she was strong enough to be by Quinn's side. I wonder if the planet Oscar is going to is the same one that Arthur went to when he first discovered the Dalki. Either way the next few chapters should be interesting.
Fex was so right and feel so bad he still hasn't forgotten what he did. He needs to talk to Linda. As for Helen hoping she sees Quinn go bloodsucker. With how she had doubts about Quinn when she first found out I feel she is rushing to try and forget them but will have a bad reaction to seeing the worse sides of being a vampire. As for Eno plot hole with the queen bit since he knows full well turned people can't be with their turner. Unless he knows something or maybe the interference only happens when feelings are mutual and hence what affect Quinn if he doesn't like Helen. If so though makes me feel sorry for any turned wives as the relationship would be one sided or just for the sake of it.
