Very nice JKS, very nice lol. I hope Quinn doesnt just break her heart. Theyve been my ship since day one lol
I like how Layla is trying to find her place her powers are quite useful in battle and out of it she just needs the ok to us them. Hopefully she will reach a point where she can use her healing without transforming. She could be the curses factions doctor and therapist. Layla is not useless but she is limited and hoping the fourth evolution we heard about will give her full access to her powers without needing to transform. Another thing I really like is how Layla wants to make sure Quinn doesn't like anyone already cause it shows she is unwilling to burden him if already has someone he likes. Also though think Layla is the best hope he has at having a normal family life to her Quinn will always be Quinn. No matter how much he changes or how others see him he will always be the person he was when they first met.
LOL you just had to throw that in there didn't you JKS, it not like most of us have got a childish mind to that number already. I hope this all works out for Layla, as although there are plenty of other girls who Quinn could choose between, Layla has been by his side from the very beginning and has always been on his side no matter what came their way. And to be honest, back in the first arc the two of them already had some great chemistry, so having their friendship move to a more romantic one I am see as a step forward for when all the fighting is none and dusted.
Layla really is the embodiment of child In the group of friends. She feels very high school like. All the others had actual trauma that aged them. She lived her whole life as a trauma, so now there's freedom to be a kid and she doesn't really know how to handle it while still handling adult like missions...she's all over the place đ¤Ł
writing a romantic relationship is hard. Quinn and Helen are an obvious personality pairing that i personally ship. However, Quinn and Layla could work out. I agree that with their current interactions, they are not right for eachother. However, that isn't what makes true romance. When I see my dad gaze at my mom after she says something that he thinks is cute, when my mom shares an inside joke with my dad, and how comfortable they feel together... thats what dating is meant to create. I do think a Quinn Layla romance would be possible if written well. The only problem is that it would be near impossible to write. So thank god JKS is writing it because i trust it to turn out well.
