Alex still acting like Gollum from lord of the ring about the Beast Crystals but I suppose its understandable. I hope Layla has the courage to tell Quinn how she really feels for him and that Quinn is honest with her tol, as it been a long time coming for the two of them to finally get together.

I dont think Quinn will reciprocate the feelings at least not yet. Hes too distracted with the war and if he did layla would become a huge liability. Hopefully he gives her a lets wait till after everything ends. Interested to see what happens

I expect Quinn is not very aware of the emotional and relationship stuff, it's going to be hilarious.

Finally I hope it goes well for Layla even if it is not outright yes I think Quinn should consider her much more then other girls since she has been with him the longest. She is also the only possible hope we have for Quinn getting any real romance in the novel as no other girls make much sense since they haven't spent nearly as much time with Quinn nor knowing him well on a personal level. Though knowing the trend most likely Quinn will be too busy with everything to pursue a a proper relationship but hope he considers it and the two come to an agreement about trying after things calm down. I can also see Layla agreeing cause she knows how busy Quinn and how important he is to the war she wouldn't want to burden him I'm anyway. She also has her own business with Pure to sort out.

While Layla would have been a great high school / early book girlfriend she seems to immature now and there history is gonna make it hard especially Quinn killing her mother . But someone like Hellen who is outgoing , mature and a former faction leader seems a better fit I'm my opinion
