Just collecting my thoughts so far with the novel and the last few chapters. So far with what we have seen from Bryce, being so dead set on removing all the punishers(pre-Cindy beatdown), the grudge on Arthur because he beheaded his grandfather, leads me to think that Byce and maybe a few other leaders(not certain) took down the Punishers after Arthur was sent into eternal slumber. Which Im guessing agin that while Arthur was on his quest to Find out what had happened to the punishers, he ran into either Jim or Richard Eno which made the Dalki. They then told Arthur of what became fhe demise of the punishers which is what turned Arthur to the path of Vengence. Again these are just my thoughts and ideas.
Jeaso Quinn what a way to drop the bomb about Arthur, also the fact you won't help them against him. I wonder if it is possible for the older leaders to get any stronger they've been around for many years and strength is everything to them or is it that they have become complacent and didn't fear anyone enough to try and get stronger. Need to see Quinn go up against Hilston to see just how much stronger he has become.
