Hmmm... as always, can't wait for the next chapter. I knew, somehow, that Sil would probably stay out of it unless targeted or the only one standing for the Cursed, but the fact that he got the barrier ability and literally just shut the barrier guy in when he went after him was hilarious! Keep up the awesome writing!

I really like that Quinn didn't need to get involved. I also expect that Mantis infected several people, if not just dennis, and was hoping to infect Quinn (hence trying to shake his hand). maybe he will try to ransom them with the life of Dennis or others.

thanks for the heads up Jks. you're awesome! so mantis obviously put a parasite into Dennis. I wonder if this will cause quinn to kill Mantis using the boneclaw. it might be a little worse than that though... I'm thinking for the king of the undead to even act at all Quinn will have to want alot of them dead... not just mantis. either way. I really need you to try and work in the boneclaw one more time soon 😅😅 when he appears I'm all "OHHHHHHHHHH ITS BOUT TO GO DOWN"

I wonder if Sil's "is this how you use it?" line was him trash talking the opponent or if he literally learned an ability he had never used before that fast.

Mantis future plans:

I'm surprised the 5v5 was only 2 chapters. I expected a lot more from the Parasites for some reason. Oh well, good to see some of the supporting cast show off.

Alright, Mantis had a smile at the end so he thinks he's getting away with something. Another comment mentioned that Mantis probably put something in Dennis during the fight. I agree, their name if freakin Parasite. I bet that's Mantis's soul weapon and probably what is wrong with the hooded guy who Paul said looked poisoned. Maybe he canntrol people with it, or just threatened to have the parasite cause harm/death if they don't cooperate? Either way, GREAT chapters. Very eventful and I am stoked for tomorrow's chapters.

Loving the latest developments. I hope Quinn let's either Peter or Paul deal with Manthis. They are the ones that seem being able to deliver more fear (besides Quinn of course) to their adversaries. Peter with his sadistic streak, would be great at it. A quick demise would not be fair to Manthis victims, so having him experience some dread before his ultimate fate seems more satisfying than giving him an easy exit.😈 Thanks for the chapters! Kazz could be great too🤔

I wonder what that Mantis has got planned now hopefully something stupid like attacking the Cursed faction once most of his own people are out of the way but either way he's going to regret what ever he does

Anyone else hoping Quinn unlocks his enhancement version of his soul weapon soon. I could see it being possibly one of two things. 1. It allowing him to perfectly fuse his blood abilities with his shadow. 2. It allowing him to steal the shadows of humans/beast with shadow eater.
