So its like the narutoverse in a way with the blood mist village. The kids grow up, train, and learn together. Then when they reach a certain age they have to kill eachother to pass and move up. But the twist here is that the winner has to absorb the two other strongest students. Hench being able to control more then one ability. In vordens case he got got too close to the other students and when killing then absorbing them his Identies split instead of fully merging.
So I’m thinking that Hilston may be Eno the first king. He used his ability to create the Blades ability, the temple, and a device to merge their minds/powers making them stronger. Something happened during the merging process with Sil, Vorden, Raten, and the Caser person and Sil seeing Caser die freaked out and caused the merge not to be completed successfully, leaving 3 seperate fully functioning minds inside of Sils body.
finally get to learn about Sil and Hilston. I'm so excited. I'm curious if the blades are why the vampires never helped the humans. like they knew there was a strong family who if they acted could save everyone because they're the only humans to stand toe to toe with the vampire leaders. which I'm guessing the grandfather can stand toe to toe with the vampire king with all 5 abilities.
Hilston is Vampire King no 1 of the 10th family. After getting the power to transfer his consciousness to a human. he has been doing that for years... and while experimenting on kids, who they will merge the consciousness, and vorden is being prepared as a future vessel for Mr grandfather. they do this so that each vessel can hold more than 1 power. meanwhile guarding the 2nd half of the dragon seated under the giant stone tablet. so that the vampire knight (can't remember his name) of the eno that gave Quinn his power, nay not complete the Dalki project...
I have a theory that the blades can only copy one ability at a time, however they use the temple to merge kid Blades together for the chance of them being able to copy more than one ability at a time. They probably tried merging Sil, Raten and Vorden together both physically and mentally. But for some reason they failed and their pretty much the same as before except they're all trapped in the same body, however I reckon that when/if their fusion is complete without any errors, they'd have Vordens charisma/charm as well as intellect, Ratens battle prowess and street smarts, Sils skills when it came to using abilities as well as all adding together the amount of abilities they could copy in one day making it 6 in total.
