I wondering if the travelers will go back given what Leo just sensed. if they do than they are likely going to die...maybe get turned even so the vampire can rebuild his forces. I'm super looking forward to seeing Quinn hit level 20 and evolve to a vampire lord and the changes that might mean. maybe after the tournament at the school? though that is a lot of xp needed. a line from harry potter rings in my ears with this group "why when there is trouble it is always you three" except in this case it's vorden, quinn, layla, peter, and now fex.

As for the story, I enjoy it enough to get lost and reread it. I look forward to the next chapter when I wake up every morning, between this and one other series Ive been reading this is the one I can visualize and hear through out my day asking, "What are they going to do next?" :: Im glad he has the ring now, and I hope it doesn't make it too noticable when the kids are outside fighting. hes gone from a solid 5 in everything to being 20s+ soo Just the idea of him getting in the arena as a "level 1" and taking hits unphased, the shadow boxing and the supreme agility, Im starting to see why people are in awe of his improvement in the VR

a cruel cliffhanger but still so good

Author really gets his readers involved and drawn into the story. This is one of my two faves to read on here. Cant wait to see what happens when Cia confronts the group but i am willing to wait for the Author. Great stories take time and a good place to get ideas out. stress and struggle dont help.
