Its impossible for such a military to exist unless the millitary have all turned against the human race , their behaviour and actions can only make sense if every general and above are on the dalki’s side, offering students as sacrifices (they could make it criminals only) , instigating students to bully each other(creates more and more people willing to betray the human race), honestly I’m surprised society hasn’t broken down yet, also Quinn is way too stupid, his level of stupidity is abnormal, btw they had a chance to kill truedream and save erin instead they let that old bastard kiss her and take her powers, truedream is 90% a traitor and so is duke and his superiors, they are all clearly traitors, honestly staying at the school at his level is just endangering himself needlessly, quin needs to start focusing on himself by staying out of sight and growing stronger,(that means he can’t participate in stupid tournaments and can’t show the world his powers which he for some reason seems eager to show as he stated about the tournament he can’t wait to show off his powers, ) honestly the red portal world was many times safer than the school, the system has everything he needs, the only thing the school can provide him is blood which I understand that his own charm can’t get but fex can and so he should ask his help, he has 2 days for the outing, if he gets a few dozens students a day he will be ready , he needs to be active about it he should have already learned his lesson when he ignored his problem and ended up almost killing his girlfriend and then with peter he ignored it too many times, too much stupidity is going on, making mistakes is understandable for an ignorant kid but even a dog knows not to repeat mistakes, every dangerous situation he had so far is all because of his stupidity and i can already see it happen again, sparing truedream left future problems, and participating in a tournament will definitely get him caught and he will be hunted by vampires for exposing them because he plans to expose himself(he is too stupid to realise that letting others see and record him using his abilities is in fact exposing himself,

It seems like Logan would have no issues with faking cam footage and giving Quinn a bib so he can have a feast in the blood bank of a hospital

Lol, 3 of them had their abilities drained, wow. But what a bummer, why would she be assigned to their team, there were at least another 3 that were gone, which meant up to 3 other teams would have had vacancies... And their team did not have one.

If CIA is to be turned hopefully she gets to keep her powers. My guess is some for of Oracle like ability such as clairvoyance or fortune telling that's how she knew where Layla was and probably explains why she was almost never in her room with Layla and Erin.

Cannot wait for the day Quinn turns on his passive charm ability again, between Fexs charm, Quinn’s charm and Vorden being her type, she will leave a snail like trail of slime behind her

Sometimes I feel Varden is a real hypocrite and downright petty dude. He already made it clear once that he didn't trust Layla, there's no need to wail onto her that much. Otherwise love the book and the improvement in quality from the author both in style and grammar.
