Would be a better chapter if you didn't end where you did, it's basically like the character took ten steps that's all that happened. I understand the need to draw people in but currently the only thing is people want to know his power. I feel you could have had a whole dialogue sequence very easily just based on where you left it. This might be the second to last chapter I read of this.
