Aha so the mysterious powerful enemy mentioned previously is that monster. Looks like they’re in for a hard time if even the two most powerful team members can’t even fight it. Tang Li Xue hurry up and eat the fruits before the team finds you! Might not be time yet but if she evolves now she could take advantage of that phenomenon she just caused to evolve. Thanks for the great Chapter. Ohhh. This mysterious beast is quite powerful beyond what I expected. In addition, the reason why the exploration team is cautious is thus understood. Although they are probably not that strong, there is a high probability that they have encountered strong enemies in secret areas in the past. I hope they regain their strength quickly and with the help of the fox guarding the entrance, the entire exploration team manages to escape/leave from here. Also, since this was probably a pretty big deal, it seems very likely to me that the entire expedition team (survivors) met with the Bookkeeper. Hopefully if that happens, thanks to the storybook, we'll see everyone's reactions to the Tang Li Xue being the cause of that beam. (And her surviving it.) I'm also particularly curious about how the chief and his daughter (and the girl's husband) will react to TLX mistakenly saving their lives (and maybe even saving the lives of the rest of the expedition team). For example, if they had made a statement to her and the other foxes such as "from now on, she is under the protection of our family", it is possible for TLX to gain strong support such as Lei Wei and Mei Lan, and to access other connections through them.
