I have been following this novel for a long time now, and I hope the author introduces a new ML. I don’t like Xiao Hei as the ML anymore. Rongrong actively tried to kill the MC multiple times, and if she is left alive, she knows the true identity of the MC and will always be a danger to her. In such a situation, choosing to save Rongrong means choosing a side. It is okay for him to pick a side, but then he shouldn’t be the ML. The MC needs an ML that would be willing to sacrifice everything for her, and this ML should definitely not be actively saving the lives of the MC’s enemies. It would be better if Xiao Hei regrets helping Rongrong in the future, but by then it is too late and the MC has gone off into the sunset with a new ML. MC in this novel is too OP to be wasting time on a toxic relationship with an indecisive ML.
