If they accept her because she completed the mission for them and that is it, then that is really lazy writing and incredibly dissatisfying for the people who want to see these disiples arrogance and pride absolutely crushed. So far their entitlement has been unwavering and unchanged, so Li Xue needs to do something incredible multiple times to enforce their obedience to her instead of their prestigious families. With how they think one action alone would be attributed to being a fluke or luck, maybe multiple actions with how stubborn they are about being right and looking down on her. Long but I hope it gets my point across.
