Maya and the fates are doing something seriously F*d up. Than again, it's BOTH there faults for not being honest with each other, especially Alice for keeping it a secret. Since Ryder already knows she's playing, to bad Janus and the Author had to be a jerk and say "You can't cause if you do..." (Author, you got a messed up sense of irony.)
