Ryder was warned to not use it unnecessarily... he can't help even if he does rewind time because he can't make or back to the city in 2 hours unless he burns his flying time. best option would be to rewind time and call Shu to stay home and call for military support asap. this will put Ryder in the limelight unnecessarily as well, but beyond that, he can't do anything to quell that much destruction on his own without raising his personal strength to an insane degree in a short time. you can't save everyone, be happy that the ones you care about are safe.

why is it that now he is having a hero complex? He only has 2 loved ones on earth and maybe shu. Does he really want to risk his girls life that much? Moreover even if he suceeds, villans will get an easy way to lure him out next time. Every time they will repeat same style

I like the setting and trouble where if they continue his loved ones and friends live but if he goes back there's a very real good chance those he cares dies and it repeats over and over while even if he wins in the end he will lose them or he continues and keeps them...I like the debate...I prefer if he continues as regardless people will die and it's better to keep his loved ones and friends out of it.
