That was the reason why Edith tokd Belle to let Portia in. It was the way she would use the reaper form for long and could use blood right way since she us coughing it. I worried about Belle. Is now tge time of her death and not the previous episode with Portia?

I have SO many questions and thoughts about the hidden magic, witches, and curses from what I know in the other books/this one. I wanna know how they connect bc it seems like 2 different stories now but the author is good at interlinking these and showing a whole world of characters vs just one story line.... but its making me antsy not knowing lol
