Im proud of Alicia actually. In this whole ordeal, she did not show any selfishness and she kept helping the Riev & the elite vampires without holding back. Even if it means draining her energy, she goes all out.... Zeke, will you melt your heart for this new queen to be? Or you will go for the human?
Ah Zeke..you're killing me with that silver hair!!💕But he's trying to be the bad guy here in front of Alicia..but I'm glad that she doesn't believe him.He definitely has reasons of doing this.But I was wondering,if Alex knew it was Zeke all along when he came in front of the woman in veil back then? Even the other elite vamps had a feeling it was him! I'm wondering if Zeke is doing this because the evil lady recruited him n he accepted in some way or she thinks she controlling him by a spell and he goes with it bc then he can try to keep the others safe, like in this battle, he fought but never went for kill. He lead them into a trap but gave Abby time to try n fix him before hand. Left his men in Alex's command.. He willing is sacrifice himself and everyone think he's a traitor so their side wins. Earlier he had concerns if him or Alex died how the rogued and others would no longer listen to the rules....and Alex can live forever vs Zeke who will eventually die. Easy choice for him to chose Alex while he sides with evil woman, so he can manipulate it enough to keep them alive. He knows they are strong to win out if they stay alive long enough..... My thoughts at least, makes most sense. I hope so bc its breaking my heart to see him as a bad guy... and how sad everyone else will when they find out. Ya know they will. Happy to see Kai tho! Be antsy to see Alex and Abigail again out of collapse....and what comes next.
I am so in love with all the characters except for Abigails mom. Zeek has been strange throughout the entire book. But he has always protected the ones unable to help themselves, such as Abi's little friend who needed a new heart. He has tried to distance himself from Abigail from the beginning. He told her in the beginning that she would cause Alex's death. When he took the blood of the village girl to replace what Alex had taken from him he tried to be as kind as he could. Truly all the characters are fantastic. I believe that Alicia cares for him. Not sure what's going to happen with Alicia and Zeke. Cudos to the Author for making us fall in love with everyone. The really bad guy here is Abi's mom. If she is her mom.
Keep it coming Author!! Zeke alwAys has reasons to do what is logical so I know there must be a reason why. After all, he had so many chances to kill Alex, or any of them in prior chapters. I love the Zeke and Alicia combo tho. I didnt expect that. The witch queen and the prince....but Alex and Abigail is still a power couple....next chapters please...
i saw comments on the New Witch Queen and Zeke but what about the human woman he drank from? it was just ironic that he came to her and she had the sweetest blood he's ever had... like how Kai said for Abi's bestie. i was under the impression that when that hearkened it signified their mate, residual since when Zeke returned, his men said when will their prince find their mate. i though maybe Riev and Alicia would hit it off unless they only did a friends
