As a sucker for happy relationships, I have a feeling that Alex is slowly falling for Abi, and that he will have a hard time adjusting when he realizes she loves him. Then he’ll try to distance himself until he can’t and admit that he loves her back. Not sure how her sickness will fit in to this equation but that’s my hypothesis!
