A super smart MC gets broken too fast, the story can’t be consisten. Especially Here where knowledge is basically power, he can just get infinite mana with a few tweaks and a reality Warping enchant and boom, Omnipotence in 2 chapters. That’s why I prefer creative And moderately smart MC, makes a much better story that way. We want to enjoy and have fun reading. I have thought about this. Also the MC’s IQ is limited by the Author’s so if I make Him master magic left and right with no limits, But can’t write that level Of intelligence in his day to day life, the story will become cringe.
