so to win a monthly tournament, you are planning on using a power that can cause you to be hunted down and experimented on? that doesn't even sound like you are trying to gain trust, it sounds like you are a 12yo who needs to always win

So did he forget about all those snake eggs because he still needs to learn how to tame them. Also it would be nice if he actually thinks about what his own path to power will be. What are his favorite weapons,what elements does he find interesting, is he going to learn a profession, and several other questions that all should have been answered by now. We knows bits like he uses Wind magic a lot, has a more agile rogue like fighting style, prefers bows and daggers(but we dont know if he likes other weapons), and so far has shown no interest in learning how to make potions,medicine,armor,weapons,robes, bows, or anything really. He wants to tame the snakes which hopefully means he will learn how to tame beasts but will he actually go beyond just taming those snakes in that profession, I dont know.
