I thought MC is poor from 2nd chapter. he owns a town about to become a city? and connects to a port city + with an important city of the kingdom. He is definitely not matured from the last sentence as first chapter says. The thing is I can't able to imagine the MC fully. with his character from previous chapters he should be like "Butler Xiao I become Mage let's check how much money we have for my future Mage training" because he is Matured and Poor.

this was the personality I was hoping the MC wouldnt have. the whoo hoo type of personality. its only been 50 years since humanity has been brought to the brink of extinction. plus your parents and even brother dies and you have a happy go lucky attitude. Seriously?
