Alice should be smarter than this, as she was portrayed from the beginning...she's getting married simply to escape being a target? why not focus on unraveling the mysteries behind the palace dynamics? delve deeper behind the minds of Wyatt, Spade, and Hartley in trying to unravel the villains? a bit more mind games and political schemes? more smack down and word wars? more smart play rather than teenage love story? that's just how i prefer it of course...in the end, it's your story😉

i would very much prefer for the story to focus on the adventure, forging of friendships and camaraderie, defeating the villains and all that...rather than the romance??? they're still basically teenagers...i know it's the 18th century, but still...for me, the adventure and great friendships have more appeal than romance...and Alice has been making thoughtless decisions one after another...where's the smart Alice that i liked from the beginning???
