I don’t really get what is the point of getting Nobel backers if it all ends in a fight to the death tournament style. I get how the nobles could benefit as the future emperor might be grateful for their backing but for a rich prince who has everything what could a Nobel even offer. What is the point of the princes and princesses forming alliances if the strength of their alliance is pointless as they still have to fight to the death tournament style.
