Eats the hearts of enemies and has an incredible sense of Noblesse oblige. Cleo is so lucky. Also really interesting to see how anger and pain have made Sophie focus on her essential traits of Spider instincts, sense of societal obligation, and defensiveness from being a survivor. Eating the hearts of a few nobles won't be too out of the question considering her desire to ensure decent living standards despite the hierarchical structure. It should be noted however it has always been the empathetic of the classes that do have leisure economically that have been able to produce the ideas in spreadable form that lead to better conditions. The ideas themselves often from the exploited classes, but never able to be articulated for lack of time or energy due to exploitation and its effects in causing cyclical poverty. I am so glad you actually take the time with looking at the political economy of a cultivation universe space empire, most just have a setting the MC goes "can't be helped" to. when either "how can I exploit this effectively" or "how can I make things better" are much more interesting interactions, which funnily enough often mean similar things if the understanding is high enough, as increased standards means less threat and more loyalists, as well as more sophisticated production.
