that was anti-climactic what was the whole point of that Sophie should have at least gotten some benefits from it maybe some of the powers of the god or become a demigoddess or some type of benefit from all the hard work she did this entire sequence did nothing for the story except for maybe some comic relief

she gave up to quickly... she could have crashed the stupid trial, or force it to deplete all of its energy
