You know, I don't think that ''killing an ennemy'' is really the only way to satisfy the hunting goddess. Let's think of it,the three states we know are ''berserk'', ''*** drive'' and ''finding''. However, the sacrifice by killing really only seem to correspond to ''berserk''. ''finding'' is as important to hunting, some might argue even more important. Sex is... let's say the hunt for another type of prey. I won't be surprised if there's a different way to satisfy the goddess for each of these states,as well as for those we still don't know.

Will offering a sacrifice stop the states from being so unwieldly? Cause, otherwise. . . not worth it.

Im going to assume that the grey device last chapter was a listening device and that the shady group will find out about her past. Possibly selling her or giving her location to the ones doing experiments on/with the insectoid races.

I never liked her relationship to begin with if almost dying is enough for you to break up or whatever then you didn't need to be togeether anyway and it felt specious how Cleo was simply lustful in the first place.

please tell me this stupid poison is expelled before the corruption occurs; temporarily damaging the relationship. i cant handle them being separated because of lies...maybe someone getting kidnap...sure. but cleo forced into thinking she doesnt love sophie would be heartbreaking

What it takes to do this may be treated lightly. The truth however shakes you beyond your core and is perhaps the hardest thing ever.
